King Victor Emanuel II and the Mussolini’s Balcony; will start our interesting walk from the Trajan’s Column,
the elegant marble column inaugurated by Trajan in AD 113 and the “Trajan’s Forum”, a sunken area strewn with
fractured marble architraves and columns giving an idea of its original appearance, then on though the majestic
Imperial Forums Avenue to reach the “Roman Forum”, center of ancient Rome’s political and religious life;
this incredible and interesting ensemble of ancient ruins is reflecting the 12 centuries of history which
created Roman civilization.

processions towards the Capitol, to reach then the Arch of Titus, the imposing triumphal arch erected in AD 81

built between 75-80 A.D. and representing the eternity of Roman civilization, this monument is no doubt a
masterpiece of classical architecture with its three superimposed classical orders, it; this enormous amphitheater
was large enough to seat 80.000 spectators at such Roman events as gladiatoral combats and the martyrdom of Christians.
