If you have never been to Rome, here’s your chance of enjoying a brief visit where you will see enough to encourage you to return for a longer stay.

From the port you join the autostrada and drive through the Etruscan countriside for 1 ½ hour till you arrive to Rome. You will first have some free time to shop or browse and later you will pick-up your local guide and start your city tour.

You will tour the city for 2 ½ hours and among the highlights you will pass by the Circus Maximus, scene of great chariot races; Trajan Column with its 2,500 marble figures and Venice Square with Victor Emmanuel white marble monument   and Mussolini balcony.

St. Peter’ s Basilica, the largest in the world, and the Colosseum,  symbol of the Eternal City with a capacity of 80.000 spectators where gladiators and wild beasts once battled to death, are the two places you are going to visit.
